La Arepa Menu
You order from the counter, and they bring the food to your table, either inside or on the patio in the back by the parking lot. We decided to sample the menu so we ordered a pabellon arepa (a traditional  Venezuelan corn cake with fried plantains, black beans, queso fresco, and shredded beef); a ground beef fried empanada; a chicken patacon (a crisp corn tortilla topped with chicken, tomato, onion, queso fresco, and lettuce); and a cheese pastelitos (puff pastry with sweet cheese filling). We also had a watermelon juice. Venezuelan food is tasty and interesting if you have never had it. The arepa and patacon were our favorite dishes.
