Bravo Farms

Bravo Farms

Interesting Outdoor Artifacts
Bravo Farms has three locations: Kettleman City, Traver, and Tulare. All three are good family-friendly pit stops. We stopped at the Bravo Farms in Traver (Highway 99 between Visalia and Kingsburg). The shop offers an assortment of regional products--nuts, dried fruits, ice cream (Rosa's), honey and jams, fudge and candies, veggie chips and dried veggie snacks--but the leader item are the cheese from the Vintage Cheese Company (samples available). The Vintage Cheese Company Plant is part of Bravo Farms, and customers can often watch the cheeses being made.

Bravo Farms also has a wine bar and "Wild Jacks," a Tex-Mex restaurant that also has an outside barbecue stand and picnic area. There is a petting zoo for kids, play areas, and interesting outside artifacts. The shop also sells novelty gifts.

We bought a Garlic Jack Cheese (small) for $5.10 and some Pumpkin Fudge for $5.95 (excluding tax) in the store.
At Wild Jack's, we bought a Tri Tip Sandwich with a side order of beans for $11.05.
