The Waffle Shop is a small Central California chain of 12 restaurants specializing in breakfast. We stopped at their location at 4025 West Figarden Drive in northwest Fresno. The Waffle Shop is only open for breakfast and lunch. They are open from 6 a.m. until 3 p,m. every day.

We ordered a Mediterranean Omelette and Chicken and Waffles. The omelette came with potatoes and biscuits or toast. We ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy, and the country potatoes instead of the hash browns.

The gravy on the biscuits was nice and peppery. The potatoes were crisp. The omelette was cooked perfectly. The waffles and chicken were crisp.
