Don Pepe Taqueria is a local Fresno Mexican restaurant with three locations. The food is real Mexican, not American Mexican. We visited the location at 7029 N Ingram Ave #108, in the parking lot in front of Walmart on East Herndon Avenue. We visited at lunch time on a week day, and it was packed. We ordered an asada plate (shredded beef with rice, refried beans, salad, and tortillas), and shrimp botana (cabbage, avocado, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and 12 sautéed shrimp). You order at the counter, and they bring the food to your table.

Our two large dishes came to $26.94 including tax. We ordered two of the most expensive items on the menu. This Don Pepe Taqueria
is open from 9:a.m. until 8:00 p.m. seven days a week.
