Brahma Bull

Brahma Bull Indian Cuisine
Brahma Bull is an Indian restaurant serving dishes from various parts of India. It is located at 3050 West Shaw Avenue in Fresno, across the parking lot from Target.  Brahma is open seven days a week. Lunch hours are 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Dinner hours are 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and until 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday hours are noon until 8:00 p.m.

Three of us had dinner. We started with warm crisp vegetable samosas. We had cool sweet lhassi and a mango lhassi to drink, and a hot south Indian coffee.

Our three entrees consisted of their signature Brahma Bull chicken, (marinated chicken cooked in a clay oven and served on a sizzling hot skillet); shrimp masala cooked in a creamy sauce; and shahi paneer, cubes of fresh cheese cooked in a creamy spiced sauce.

The entrees were served with Channa Masala (garbanzo beans cooked with spices) as a side dish, and Payasam (tapioca pearls cooked with milk and syrup) for dessert.
