The Lime Lite

The Lime Lite

The Lime Lite offers finer dining. The Lime Light is located at 1054 West Shaw Avenue (just west of Palm Avenue) in Fresno. It is a Happy Hour and dinner establishment. Dinner is served Monday - Wednesday, 5:00 - 9:30 p.m., and Thursday - Saturday, 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Happy Hour is Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. The Happy Hour has a  small plate menu, but the plates are not so small, so if you visit on Saturday, plan on having a lunch-sized meal. The Lime Light has a full bar, where you can also eat if you want.

If you ask for lemon or lime slices with your water, the slices are served on the side. You can rub the skin around the rim of the glass before squeezing to enhance the citrus taste.

Warm bread is served with butter flavored with herbs.

Baked Burrata.
The soft burrata cheese is spicy, but not too much, and served with freshly grilled bread. The  Arbiatta sauce is made with  roasted peppers, calabrian chili, and pickled fresno peppers.
Loco Moco
Grilled Ora King Salmon, bacon fried rice, honey cashew, and Japanese citrus ponzu sauce with fresh veggies.
"Wedge of Lettuce" salad, smothered in blue cheese dressing, bacon pieces, and tomatoes.

Surf and Turf
(Korean-style tri tip and tempura shrimp with garlic ponzu sauce)

Crispy Cauliflower (flavored with curry powder and served with lemon tahini sauce)

Bread Pudding.
A sweet classic at Lime Light, their new version is a honey bun bread pudding, topped with vanilla ice cream and served with a side of whipped cream, both drizzled with amaretto sauce.

The total for 5 not-so-small small plates, plus the bread pudding dessert, was $47.51 (including tax).
