K & C House of Donuts & Pastries is a doughnut shop and Mexican bakery. It is open from 5:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. K&C is located at 7014 North Maple Avenue just north of Herndon Avenue.

| Apple Fritter and Chocolate Frosted Doughnut. The doughnuts are traditional and good. The items such as apple fritters are fusion cuisine: the traditional American fritter is very apple-y, and this incarnation is less apple-y and more sweetish. |
