Diana's is a Persian Armenian restaurant located at 3050 West Shaw Avenue in Fresno (across the parking lot from Target). Persian Armenian food is familiar to people who like Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food as these cultures share some dishes (pilafs, grilled meats, grilled whole vegetables).
Diana's is open Monday through Friday for lunch from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm, and for dinner from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. They are open Saturday from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm, and they are closed on Sunday.
We ordered two entrees for lunch. The first was traditional Armenian lamb shish kebab with bulgur pilaf on the side and a salad. The second dish was a Persian sultani, two skewers of meat, one of beef and the other of seasoned ground beef. We ordered the sultani with a side of saffron rice pilaf and lentil soup.
We finished our lunch with Persian ice cream, flavored with rose water and containing crunchy pistachios.
