Salles Cafe

Salles Cafe

Salles Cafe is an American and Portuguese restaurant located in Tulare about 45 miles south of Fresno. Salles Cafe is located at 2082 North J Street in Tulare. Salles was started in 1942 by Joe Coelio Salles, a cattle hauler and service station operator. He added food for the cattle haulers, and his restaurant has been at the same location ever since. The day we visited there were cattle trucks parked across the road. Parking is available in the back of the restaurant.
We ordered a Portuguese minced breakfast and a Portuguese omelet with linguica sausage, onions, olives, and cheese.
