The Sunnyside Delicatessen is located in southeast Fresno at 5691 East Kings Canyon Road. It serves sandwiches and salads for lunch, as well as cold cuts to go. The Sunnyside Delicatessen's hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. They are closed on Sunday and Monday.
Sandwiches come with mayonnaise, mustard, cheese, lettuce, pickles, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and Italian dressing.
You order your sandwiches at the counter, and the staff brings them to your table. We went on a Saturday, and a line of customers was there the entire time we were.
We ordered two whole sandwiches (a grilled deluxe Italian and a hot pastrami), and a half sandwich (bacon, lettuce, and tomato) with a salad.
