The Ahwahnee Hotel

The Ahwahnee Hotel

The Ahwahnee Hotel was built in the 1920s to attract affluent visitors to Yosemite National Park. The Hotel's dining room has ceilings more than 30 feet high, and floor to ceiling windows let guests dine amidst spectacular views of Yosemite National Park. Reservations are strongly recommended especially on weekends and during the busy summer months.

Breakfast and lunch are served Monday through Saturday, with a brunch served on Sunday. Dinner is served seven days a week. There is a dress code for dinner.

Breakfast 7:00 am - 10:00 am
Lunch 11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Brunch on Sundays (no lunch served) 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
Dinner 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We ordered lunch on a Saturday. Our orders consisted of fettuccine pesto alfredo and a pastrami reuben.

Before or after you dine, you can take a one-hour tour of the Hotel. The tour is slow paced and easy, and you learn interesting stories about the hotel's architecture, visitors, and history.
