The FRI Poutinerie is a Canadian themed restaurant located next to the Sierra Vista Cinemas in Clovis. They feature poutine with various toppings. Poutine is french fried potatoes with a gravy like sauce and cheese curds. The sauce here unlike most poutine sauces is vegetarian. The menu also features Montreal smoked meat, Get smashed lemonade, Canadian pizza on a stick, burgers, pork and chicken. Everything has a Canadian theme.

Poutine Comes In Three Sizes - Nice, Good, and Bad

We ordered a smoked meat reuben with a side of poutine, and a Canadian dip sandwich. Smoked meat is a Montreal meat similar to pastrami. FRI poutinerie smokes their own meat. The Canadian dip is a French dip sandwich with freshly made potato chips on the side.

We had two sandwiches and poutine. The food was warm and filling. The home made chips were crisp and an unexpected surprise.The order came to $29.49 including tax. FRI Poutinerie Canadian Grill is located at 1250 Shaw Aven,ue in Clovis to the right of the entrance to the Sierra Vista Cinemas. Clovis is located just east of Fresno.
