Eddie's Bakery and Cafe describes itself as a "modern counter-serve cafe offering baked goods & custom cakes, plus breakfast & lunch fare." The showcase is the Bakery section, with tempting cakes, cookies, pastries, tarts, tortes, warm fresh breads and rolls, and other baked goods such as muffins and scones. We stopped by during the early lunch hour and enjoyed the cafe-styles meals in the outdoor seating area. The cafe offers classic breakfast choices (oatmeal, eggs, waffles, french toast, and a few month items) and lunch choices (salads, sandwiches both regular and panini, burgers, and wraps).
Eddie's Bakery and Cafe is located in Fresno at 7089 N Cedar Ave (just north of Herndon Avenue). The bakery is open longer hours: 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and on Sundays 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The cafe is open shorter hours: 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. every day.
