Papa's Place specializes in New Orleans-style comfort cuisine. Many selections come deep fried: pickles, strawberries, macaroni and cheese balls, and all 'proteins' may come fried or grilled. The New Orleans-style cuisine includes hearty "po boy" sandwiches, a smaller version ("po'babies")
Papa's Place is located in Old Clovis Town (453 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis). The restaurant is actually tucked in the breezeway of the DeWitt Building. Papa's Place is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Friday and Saturday the closing time is 11:00 p.m. Papa's Place is closed on Sunday and Monday.
