Pismo's Coastal Grill is a seafood restaurant and fish market in north Fresno in the Villaggio Shopping Center. The street address is 7959 North Blackstone Avenue (SW corner of Nees Avenue). Pismo's is named for Pismo Beach, the closest ocean beach to Fresno.

Pismo's has a daily menu, a list of seasonal sides, and a pasta du jour. We were seated in a booth in the large dining room. It was cold outside so the windows were shut, but when the weather is nice, the dining room is open to the outside air. Seafood choices include grilled, fried, and broiled selections. There are also non-fish options if you do not like seafood. There are many appetizers including raw and cooked shellfish as well as three different chowders.  We ordered three dishes, a Pismo's platter as an entree, a pan seared scallops and crab cake combo, and a grilled trout dinner. The dinners come with two sides or one primo side.

The brussel sprouts were very good. After a seafood meal, we finished by splitting three ways a desert--Bourbon Pineapple Upside Down Cake--and we were all full and satiated.

Dinner for three came to $101.50 including tax. Pismo's is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
