Rocket Dog is a sausage and beer restaurant located at 88 East Shaw Avenue just east of Blackstone Avenue in north Fresno. Four of us ordered food, and two of us ordered root beer floats as well. Rocket Dog serves a large variety of sausages as well as salads and sides.

The Napa Dog

A Napa Dog is a sweet chicken sausage on a grilled baguette with fig-onion jam, crumbled goat cheese, balsamic reduction drizzle, and fresh basil chiffonade. All dogs are served with homemade chips on the side.

The Firehouse

The Firehouse is an all-beef hot dog on a plain bun with chili, crunchy corn chips, cheddar cheese, and red onion.

The Lucky Luciano

The Lucky Luciano is sweet Italian sausage on a grilled baguette with marinara, grilled peppers and onions, and melty mozzarella cheese.

Our three dogs, cup of chili, garlic fries, and two root beer floats came to $46.89 including tax. Rocket Dog is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p..m.
